Portrait of an Appaloosa gelding

This handsome Appaloosa horse was a successful western performance competition horse as well as a beloved pet to his human family. The horse had unusual varnish roan markings, strong conformation and a bright, playful personality. The clients loved how Rohde captured his look in this custom original graphite charcoal portrait! They went on to order other horse art portraits from the artist.
