One of the fabled Calumet Farm's greatest champions, Whirlaway (Blenheim II x Dustwhirl by Sweep) won the Triple Crown in 1941 and captured the Eclipse Award for Horse of the Year for 1941 and 1942. He won more than half of his 60 races! Blood-Horse magazine ranks Whirlaway as the 26th top U.S. Thoroughbred champion of the 20th century. Whirlaway retired as the world's greatest money earner, and later sired some excellent horses such as Scattered, Whirl Some, and Dart By.

You can purchase Rohde's fine art portrait of Whirlaway either unframed or framed in a deluxe brown solid wood designer frame with an antique white mat. Your Whirlaway thoroughbred horse racing fine art is hand signed and numbered by the artist and is of exceptional quality. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
