You can have Poco Bueno (and any of Rohde's other horse art) remarqued or personalized by the artist. Visit our custom orders page!
Poco Bueno was an outstanding halter and western performance horse who was known for passing his talents down through the generations. He was sired by the great Quarter Horse stallion King P-234 and named for his maternal grandsire, Old Poco Bueno. His name means "pretty good" in Spanish, though "exceptional" would be a more fitting adjective for this great champion! Poco Bueno sired 405 registered AQHA foals, and among them were the famous Poco Lena, Poco Tivio, Poco Bob, Poco Dell, and Poco Pine. His influence is still being felt today! Heather Rohde's fine portrait of Poco Bueno is now available in select signed and numbered limited editions reproduced from Rohde's original art. You can purchase Poco Bueno unframed or framed in a beautifully decorated brown and gold designer frame with a textured white mat. The frame has an easel attachment on the back so you can either set it up on a shelf or hang it on a wall. We also offer a deluxe canvas giclée version that has been hand-stretched over a pine support and beautifully presented in a solid wood double-tone brown frame. Ready to hang on your wall right out of the box! Your Poco Bueno limited edition American Quarter Horse art includes a Certificate of Authenticity and is of exceptional quality. A very limited amount of only 50 highly collectible signed and numbered Artist's Proofs are also available (contact us to purchase).
