Forego was a true champion and one of the greatest geldings to ever step hoof on a racetrack. In 57 starts, he won 34, placed in 9, and came in third 7 times, winning close to $2 million. Forego won the Eclipse Award for Horse of the Year for three years straight: 1974, 1975, and 1976! Upon his retirement, Forego lived in peaceful luxury at the famed Kentucky Horse Park, where thousands of admirers came to visit him.
